Banyan Work Health Solutions Inc. has announced a new program to help manage workplace absence. The program, part of Sun Life Financial’s absence and disability management group benefits, provides employers with access to an occupational claims management service.
Some of the services offered will include:
- supporting and facilitating an early, safe and sustainable return-to-work;
- providing support to ensure the employee limits the length of time away from work as a result of a work-related injury or illness; and
- reviewing and filing accident report forms with Workers’ Compensation Boards on the employer’s behalf, and following up to ensure timely management of the claim file.
