Equitable Life of Canada has launched a new drug plan management tool kit, designed to help employers to better understand their drug plan risks and implement solutions to those risks.
The tool kit is integrated with Equitable Life’s HealthConnector platform and offers customized diagnostic drug reports that highlight key performance metrics, as well as communication tools for both sponsors and members that explain various drug plan design options.
“The relevance of drug plan management has been recognized for many years,” said Martin Chung, assistant vice-president of strategic health management with Equitable Life. “When it comes to addressing their increasing healthcare challenges, plan sponsors have often been limited by the absence of practical, client-specific insights that illustrate why a thoughtful approach to drug plan management matters, plan options that make strategic sense and direction on how to implement efficiently and with sensitivity to plan member needs.”
