Engagement is about the health of the employees along with increased energies and focus on the interactions that are positive with the customers. It is the way to have amazing companies.
While I agree with the direction of the article, I would not be so assertive on the causation issue. I am not sure the insight that better engagement causes better health is warranted. It could be the other way around: since employees are healthier they are better engaged. This has to be determined, but there is a correlation indeed.
