Benefits
Elizabeth Jong is promoted to regional director, business development with Warren Shepell Consultants in
Ottawa. Previously, she was a senior account manager.
Sandra Pellegrini is appointed leader of the health strategies team, Ontario region, at Aon Consulting in
Toronto.
Fern Holtzkener is promoted to assistant vice-president, SunBenefits with Sun Life Financial, Group
Retirement Services in Toronto. In her new position, she leads the electronic integration of the company's
group life and health and pension services.
Pensions
Wilson Young joins Aon Consulting's retirement strategies practice in Toronto as senior consultant. He
comes from The Segal Company, where he was actuarial manager and consulting actuary.
Daryl King joins Sun Life Financial, Group Retirement Services in Vancouver as senior account executive. He
joins Sun Life from Clarica in Vancouver, where he was education and communication manager. Also at Sun
Life Financial, Greg Bell is promoted to assistant vice-president, customer passion. Most recently, he was
director, pension client services. In his new role, Bell is responsible for developing the overall customer
service strategies and leading the pension administration teams in Toronto, Montreal and Edmonton.
David Williamson joins Clarica in Waterloo, Ont. as executive vice-president and chief financial officer.
Williamson is responsible for financial reporting, capital and risk management, corporate taxation, legal
services, investor relations and corporate communications. He comes from Derlan Industries Ltd. in Toronto,
where he was president and CEO.
Investments
Peter Frost joins AMI Partners Inc. in Toronto as portfolio manager. He comes from RT Investment Counsel
Inc., where he was director of asset mix policy and strategy. As a member of AMI's asset allocation team,
he is responsible for contributing to asset mix decisions, quantitative research and managing client
portfolios.
Philip Gelsheimer is promoted to director at ABN AMRO Asset Management Canada Limited. Previously, he was
the treasury controller with ABN AMRO Bank. In his new role, Gelsheimer is responsible for finance,
compliance and infrastructure.
