CDP Global Asset Management is a subsidiary of CDP Capital (the Caisse de dèpôt et placement du Quèbec's investment management operation). CDP Global Asset Management specializes in the management of portfolios invested in global, highly liquid markets.

Ian Gilhooley is chief operating officer of The Canadian Depository for Securities Ltd. in Toronto.

Kevin Martino is director of marketing and sales for the Ontario region at UBS Global Asset Management.

Karen Perego joins Aon Consulting in Toronto where she is the new senior consultant in the communication practice. Jeremy Gauthier has also joined Aon in Toronto as a consultant in the workers' compensation practice.

Cecil Smith is now the senior vice-president and chief information officer of Maritime Life in Halifax.

John Gingell has been appointed senior vice-president of The Segal Co.'s Chicago office.

Joan Johannson is now the assistant vice-president of product and marketing, investments and pensions at Canada Life in Toronto. Previously, she was director of product and marketing, investments and pensions.

Uriel MacGillivary is now manager, business development, group savings and retirement for the Atlantic provinces with Standard Life. She is based in Halifax. BC
