New editor at Benefits Canada

BENEFITS CANADA has a new editor. Jim MacDonald has joined the magazine, replacing Kevin Press, who was editor for four years. MacDonald is also the new editor of Canadian Investment Review, the sister publication of BENEFITS CANADA at Rogers Media.
Press has become editor, special projects at Rogers while Caroline Cakebread, who was the editor of Canadian Investment Review for the past two years, is a contributing editor for BENEFITS CANADA.
MacDonald was formerly managing editor of the Rogers-owned Web site advisor.ca, which has a wide audience of financial advisors. Prior to joining Rogers in November 2000, MacDonald worked in a variety of editorial positions including reporter/editor of Global Stratagems, the media unit of the mutual fund company Global Strategy, as well as reporter/editor with The Canadian Press-Broadcast News in Toronto.
MacDonald looks forward to working with the pension and benefits communities.
