The Canadian Armed Forces has admitted that reservists are waiting too long to receive their first pension cheques because the HR processes at National Defence are outdated and the department is understaffed, according to the Globe and Mail.

Senior officials told the newspaper that the system is being streamlined and more administrative personnel have been hired, which should resolve the problems over the next two years.
