Michael Keaveney, client portfolio manager, total investment solutions, CIBC Asset Management

Michael Keaveney is a member of the managed solutions team as a portfolio strategist focusing on solution design, thought leadership and client-facing activities for individual clients and advisors.

Keaveney has more than 29 years of investment industry experience. Prior to returning to CIBC Asset Management in 2024, he was a multi-asset and Canadian equity lead portfolio manager at a competitor firm. From 2011 to 2014, he was director of investment management research on CIBC Asset Management’s investment management research team.

Keaveney has a business of administration degree. in economics from the University of Waterloo and a master’s of science degree in financial management from the University of London. He’s a chartered financial analyst charterholder and a member of the CFA Society of Toronto.
