League adds insurance products to digital benefits platform

Digital benefits platform League is partnering with RBC Insurance to add insurance products to its portfolio of health benefits.

League will provide coverage for unexpected emergencies, as well as a range of group insurance products, including life, accidental death and dismemberment, and disability coverage.

“League’s platform connects health-care providers, employers and consumers to provide a comprehensive digital health benefits experience,” said Michael Serbinis, chief executive officer and founder of League. “… RBC Insurance is an ideal carrier for us to launch our service with.”

League’s digital platform, which includes health spending accounts, lifestyle spending accounts and workplace health services, aims to provide employers flexibility in building benefits plans that are right for them and for their employees.

“We recognize businesses are looking for more flexibility which is why we worked with League to create a tailored group benefits package specifically designed for their portfolio,” said John Carinci, head of group and business markets at RBC Insurance.
