How is genetic information going to be used by underwriters? If a insurance company is allowed to have genetic information and that information shows an increased risk of some nature, how it that going to impact the individual?

The intent may be initially to help determine ideal dosage etc. However, there will be other information contained in a DNA analysis. Could an underwriter ask the question of an applicant “have you had a DNA analysis?” “What was the outcome?” “If you have had an analysis submit a copy”

It could be that, in the future, having had an analysis may not be in the individual’s best interest.
