The province of Alberta through Blue Cross makes sure seniors and others get free prescriptions. It works for a province where everyone likes to work. Also, seniors need to be educated on the benefits of paying into a prescription drug plan and how little a month will make life better with prescriptions filled when needed. An education program that tells Canadians how a drug plan is beneficial … it seems responsibility for prescribed drugs shouldn’t be the responsibility of government nor should government be able to manipulate drugs paid for. Government control is not the best. In fact government control means government manipulation of Canadians — often freebies promised for votes, but never delivered.
