“Paula Allen is an integral part of the Morneau Shepell leadership team, and her new position will play a key role as we continue to expand our presence as a leading global provider of well-being services,” said Norah Joyce, the firm’s chief commercial officer and executive vice-president, in a statement. “Her extensive experience in research, thought leadership and our product and innovation strategy is a major driver of Morneau Shepell’s success and we couldn’t be prouder to have her on the team.”

Prior to joining Morneau Shepell, Allen worked for two years as director of disability management at CHC Working Well (now a division of FGI Worldwide) starting in 1998. She then spent close to seven years at FGI, first as business leader of disability management followed by vice-president of product development. Allen is also a frequent speaker for organizations, national media and at conferences for her knowledge and expertise in current issues and the future direction of health, well-being, productivity and related risk management.

“We are in a critical time. Over the past several months we have become sharply aware of how critical and vulnerable all aspects of well-being are, as well as the inextricable connection between mental, financial, physical and social well-being,” said Allen in a statement. “Morneau Shepell . . . [is] moving forward in significant ways to set another standard in total well-being, globally. I am thrilled and privileged to be part of this extraordinary organization that makes a difference in people’s lives.”
