What a Typical Day Looks Like

Lead with Purpose & Integrity

  • Provide vision, coaching, and direction to a senior team of Directors and managers, empowering them to deliver on ambitious revenue, retention, and client‑experience outcomes.
  • Model and reinforce Western’s culture, bringing Truthfulness, Fairness, Value, and Loyalty to life in every conversation and decision.
  • Guide your team through change with clarity, empathy, and strong stakeholder alignment.

Drive Sales, Service & Revenue Excellence

  • Lead the strategy and execution of national sales, distribution, and retention plans to expand market presence and drive sustainable financial growth.
  • Ensure tightly integrated sales and service operations, creating seamless handoffs and a cohesive end‑to‑end client journey.
  • Use analytics, insights, and business intelligence to uncover revenue opportunities, optimize performance, and ensure profitable growth across regions.
  • Oversee the analysis and risk‑management framework for a pooled benefits product portfolio, ensuring long‑term profitability and sound decision‑making.

Shape Strategy, Innovation & Operational Strength

  • Champion innovation by identifying new partnerships, marketing opportunities, and scalable processes that enhance profitability and operational effectiveness.
  • Lead the evolution of the operating model connecting sales and service - optimizing processes, technology, and structure to maximize flexibility and client value.
  • Manage change thoughtfully and strategically, ensuring stakeholders understand the “why” and support the path forward.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative, audit, and regulatory requirements, while upholding governance best practices and optimizing budget utilization.

  • A deep understanding of sales distribution, customer service operations, and financial performance levers.

Analytical & Operational Acumen

  • Expertise in leveraging data and insights to make informed decisions, uncover opportunities, and guide performance.
  • Experience leading transformation, continuous improvement, and change initiatives.

Licensing & Designation

  • LLQP would be considered a strong asset
  • CEBS or related designation an asset
