Maxime Chevalier, expert advisor, alternative strategies, Desjardins Global Asset Management

As an expert advisor, Maxime Chevalier specializes in alternative strategies. He collaborates closely with institutional clients and partners to understand their needs and develop solutions that help them achieve their objectives.

In 2022, Chevalier joined Desjardins Global Asset Management bringing with him 12 years of experience in investment and portfolio management. He began his career at Standard Life Investment as a quantitative portfolio management specialist and has since held various positions in the industry. Most recently, as a manager at KPMG, he advised investment teams at leading pension funds, including the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board and the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, on adopting best practices in investment risk management.

Chevalier holds a master of science in financial engineering from Université Laval and a bachelor of electrical engineering from Polytechnique de Montréal.
