Mackenzie Investments is integrating the institutional channel with its strategic alliances channel under new leadership.
Chris Boyle will join the firm in August as senior vice-president, institutional.
He has 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, most recently as senior vice-president of institutional business at AGF Management.
Previously, he held senior leadership roles at CI Financial and Fidelity Investments.
As a result of this announcement, Gary Wing left the company on May 9. In addition, Todd Backman, Mackenzie’s current executive vice-president of strategic alliances, will be leaving the company on May 16.
