EQ Care is forming a partnership with RWAM Insurance Administrators Inc. with the aim of facilitating access to virtual health-care services.

RWAM, a Canadian third-party administrator of group insurance benefits, offers services including medical consulting sessions, triage and medication prescribing.

Virtual health-care services could be set to become a staple of any complete benefits suite, said Carole Yari, chief executive officer of RWAM, in a press release. “The focus on employee wellness and access to care continues to be at the forefront of benefit discussions and may root as part of the new normal. This makes an experienced telemedicine partner all the more crucial and we are delighted to be collaborating with EQ Care.”
