The Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan has promoted three members of its investment management team.
Gillian Brown has been appointed to managing director, credit, insurance linked securities and equity products. With more than 20 years of experience in equity and derivatives investment management, she joined Ontario Teachers’ in 1995 as an equity trader.
The pension fund has appointed Tanya Carmichael to managing director of global funds. She joined Ontario Teachers’ in 2006 and was previously the director of its global funds team.
Charles Thomazi has been appointed to managing director of infrastructure for Europe, Middle East and Africa. He joined the pension fund in 1995 and was one of the founding members of the infrastructure team in 2001. Based in London, England, Thomazi is responsible for identifying, executing and managing infrastructure assets.
