Ontario-based StoneRidge Insurance Brokers Corp. is acquiring employee benefits consultancy MultiCare Group.
The acquisition will allow StoneRidge to provide a full range of insurance, risk advisory and benefits services to employer clients, according to a press release. Adam Lewis, president of MultiCare, will join StoneRidge and Scott Studley has been appointed executive vice-president of the company’s group benefits and pension business unit.

“Scott will bring a tremendous amount of skill and experience to what is a growing business segment [at StoneRidge],” said Ted Puccini, chief executive officer and president of StoneRidge, in the release. “Additionally, it has been great to get familiar with Adam and his business. He is a great fit with our high-touch, client-oriented and sales-minded culture.”
