Sun Life appoints new digital transformation lead

Sun Life Financial has appointed Stevan Lewis as senior vice-president of digital transformation.

The newly created role focuses on the company’s use of digital, data and analytics to develop new options for employers.

“We’ve had tremendous success in making it easier for clients to connect with Sun Life using innovative technologies to enhance their experiences and we have exciting opportunities ahead to further tap into data to differentiate their future experiences with us,” said Mark Saunders, executive vice-president and chief information officer at Sun Life Financial, in a news release.

Lewis has been with Sun Life since 2009, most recently as senior vice-president and chief technology officer. Prior to joining Sun Life, he held a number of roles at BMO Financial Group.
