Cascades Inc. is appointing Emmanuelle Migneault as its chief human resources officer, effective Jan. 5, 2026.
Migneault currently serves as vice-president of excellence and has been with Cascades since 2001, holding senior human resources leadership roles across business sectors and at the corporate level. She’ll succeed Maryse Fernet, who will retire in February after more than 38 years with the company.

“We are pleased to promote Emmanuelle, who is truly a product of Cascades, to new responsibilities within our company,” said Hugues Simon, president and chief executive officer of Cascades, in a press release.
“She was the architect behind the implementation and modernization of our HR processes. She is an inspiring leader, a mentor to many and above all, one of the guardians of our culture and values… I thank her for her remarkable service and wish her a happy retirement,” Simon added.
