Fiera Capital Corp. has appointed Julie Lalonde as executive vice-president, retail markets and strategic investment partnerships in its Canadian division.
In the new role, which is effective Sept. 1, 2016, Lalonde will head the firm’s overall retail markets business in Canada and continue to lead the strategic investment partnerships team, which works closely with major Canadian financial institutions, ensuring the communication of portfolio data information.
Lalonde has nearly 20 years of experience in the investment industry and has been with the firm since 2008. She previously held senior positions within Fiera Capital’s institutional markets team, and was also director of pension fund investments at Abitibi Consolidated and director of investments, pension funds at Bombardier.
