The move is the latest in a series of acquisitions by Hub to grow its presence in the employee benefits and pension market. In August, it acquired Ontario-based Benefit Broker Services Inc. and Saskatchewan-based Blackstone Insurance, Benefits & Bonding Inc. In July, it acquired Coquitlam, B.C.-based Optimum Group Benefits and Insurance Services Ltd. and Leamington, Ont.-based Hammond Insurance Agency Inc.

The company is planning to grow its employee benefits division to $100 million by 2021.
