I don’t see how you could get the Federal Government to delay the implementation past January 1, 2019 unless they were absolutely convinced it would get them more votes in the 2019 election than it will cost them.

Since small business is unlikely to vote Liberal in 2019 – they won’t be losing a single vote by not scrapping the ill-conceived CPP2 and I can’t see where doing so gets them votes they don’t already have.
