The infrastructure arm of the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec is appointing Daniel Farina as president and chief executive officer, effective Jan. 1, 2026.
Farina, who has more than 25 years of experience managing and structuring major infrastructure projects worldwide, joined the Caisse in 2019 and became general manager in 2023. He was previously director responsible for the new Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal project with the OHLA Group.

Farina will succeed Jean-Marc Arbaud, who’s retiring but will become a member of the CDPQ Infra’s board of directors as a non-executive director.
“Since 2023, he has played a decisive role as general manager, particularly in attracting leading international industry players to Quebec,” said Emanuel Jaclot, chair of the board at the Caisse’s infrastructure arm, in a press release. “We are pleased to have him lead the organization into a new chapter with the TramCité and Alto high-speed rail projects.”
