Gallagher appointing Daniel Sullivan senior vice-president of benefits, HR

Gallagher is appointing Daniel Sullivan as senior vice-president of its benefits and human resources consulting practice in Ottawa.

Sullivan brings more than 10 years of experience to his new role, five of which he spent with Gallagher working as a consultant with the Capital City team. In that role, he supported clients in building group benefit and retirement plans that attract and retain top talent. Prior to joining the organization in 2015, he spent almost four years at the Desjardins Financial Security Life Assurance Co., first as a financial analyst and then as an account executive.

“Daniel’s leadership skills and passion for client relationships will allow us to help employers build better workplaces,” said Melanie Jeannotte, chief executive officer of Gallagher’s benefits and HR consulting division in Canada. “[His] strategic focus and the strong team of talented consultants in Ottawa will enable us to expand our service capabilities across the region and is a win-win for our clients.”

In his new role, Sullivan will build and manage client and industry relationships, as well as lead and grow Gallagher’s Ottawa team of benefits and HR consultants focused on helping employers attract and retain top talent while driving greater productivity, profitability and organizational well-being.
