OMERS has started an annual audit of its pension database.

From August to October 2013, the retired member services department at OMERS will send letters to 500 randomly selected retirees and others receiving an OMERS pension.

Those who receive a letter asking for confirmation of their name, address and status are asked to complete and sign the form and return it as soon as possible.

The annual audit helps OMERS to ensure that its pension information is accurate and up to date.
