Mehmet Bayraktar, chief risk officer, AB Arya Partners

Mehmet Bayraktar is the chief risk officer of AB Arya Partners. He previously worked at Balyasny Asset Management, where he was the co-head of equity risk. Prior to that, he worked as portfolio construction lead at Point72 Asset Management, head of equity model research at Citadel and head of multi-asset research at MSCI Barra. He also held various investment roles at Barclays, Goldman Sachs and Is Asset Management. He holds a bachelor of arts in economics from Bogaziçi University, master of science from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a master of business administration from the University of Chicago.
