Jean-Bastien Auger, managing director, infrastructure investments, PSP Investments

Jean-Bastien Auger is managing director of infrastructure investments at the PSP Investments. Previously senior director of value creation and infrastructure investments, he focused on capital investment and asset management for the energy and transportation sectors. He has more than 16 years of experience in the financial industry, including advisory services, supporting mandates on initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions and project finance transactions and private equity in the infrastructure sector.

Over the last 10 years, Auger has been heavily engaged in building the infrastructure investments portfolio at PSP Investments by actively overseeing, participating in and/or leading investment transactions. Prior to joining PSP Investments in 2007, he worked in the securities division at Desjardins Group, in PwC’s transaction advisory services group and in Scotiabank’s investment banking group.

Auger holds a bachelor of commerce degree in finance from Concordia University. He’s a chartered financial analyst and chartered business valuator charterholder.
