Andrew Sweeney, managing director, institutional portfolio manager, PH&N Institutional

Andrew Sweeney is a managing director and institutional portfolio manager at PH&N Institutional, where he works with a broad range of Canadian institutional clients, including foundations, endowments, universities and pension plans. As part of this role, he also brings expertise in environmental, social and governance integration within applicable investment portfolios. After entering the investment industry in 1995, Sweeney joined the organization in 2007. For more than nearly three decades, he’s held analytical and research responsibilities across most sectors of the Canadian equity market, fostering a strategic, long-term perspective on capital markets. He was also on a variety of boards, including the B.C. Cancer Foundation and, most recently, the board of chartered professional accountants of B.C. He also chairs the investment committee of WorkSafeBC.
