Emilian Groch is a retired chief executive officer of the Alberta Teachers’ Retirement Fund Board. Previously, he was the chief pension regulator of Alberta. He’s currently a director of the Public Service Pension Plan Corp., director of Santander Consumer Bank, a member of the Saskatchewan Teachers’ Federation’s investment committee and a member of the Pension Investment Association of Canada’s government relations committee. Groch was a founding director of the Canadian Coalition for Good Governance. He’s a graduate of the University of Alberta with a bachelor of science honours degree in applied mathematics in statistics and is a certified director of the Institute of Corporate Directors.
