Berkeley Vincent, president, Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine
Berkeley Vincent has been the president of Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine, Canada since 2022. Prior to this role, he was managing director of the countries of Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Norway.
Vincent brings a diverse set of experiences to the Canadian business, having spent more than 20 years in various roles within Janssen/Johnson & Johnson in Europe and the U.S. He led commercial businesses in core therapeutic areas including oncology, immunology and neuroscience, while driving key organizational initiatives in digital transformation.
Vincent has a track record of building strong teams by attracting and retaining diverse talent across multiple therapeutic areas, geographies and health-care systems. He spent a year embedded with a non-governmental organization in Lusaka, Zambia, working directly with communities impacted by HIV. He’s also held a board position on the Swedish Association of the Pharmaceutical Industry. In his role on the board of directors of Innovative Medicines Canada, Vincent works alongside other industry leaders to improve the Canadian health-care environment as a whole and serves as executive sponsor of the Ontario Working Team.
He holds a bachelor of science in management from the Technological University in Dublin, Ireland and a master in business administration in international finance and marketing from the Driehaus College of Business at DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois.
