Dr. Tanya Tulipan, assistant professor of psychiatry, Dalhousie University
Dr. Tanya Tulipan is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians Canada and an assistant professor of psychiatry at Dalhousie University with more than 14 years of specialized experience in reproductive mental health at the IWK Health Centre, where she was also physician lead for seven years. Her clinical work centres on women’s mental health — particularly perinatal and perimenopausal psychiatry — as well as emergency psychiatry through her current role with psychiatric emergency services at Nova Scotia Health. Dr. Tulipan was trained at the University of Western Ontario and McMaster University. Her career reflects an ongoing commitment to improving mental-health care, with a focus on supporting women through major hormonal and life transitions.
