Jafer Naqvi, managing director, head, client portfolio management, TD Asset Management Inc.

Jafer Naqvi is head of client portfolio management at TD Asset Management Inc. In this role, he covers equity, fixed income, alternative and multi-asset strategies. He also leads a team of investment professionals who communicate and deliver investment solutions to clients through collaboration with portfolio managers, relationship managers and distribution teams. Naqvi was previously the head of institutional asset allocation at the firm where he was accountable for designing strategic asset mix, fund selection and portfolio management of active balanced funds and custom funds of fund solutions. He has previous experience working in fixed income and investment solutions development as a vice-president with a global investment management firm along with experience within investment consulting. He holds a bachelor of business administration with honours from Wilfrid Laurier University.
