Peter Bowen, vice-president, tax, retirement, Fidelity Investments Canada

Peter Bowen is vice-president of tax and retirement research at Fidelity Investments Canada. In this role, he leads the tax and retirement research team, travelling across the country to inform investors and advisors on the changing retirement and tax landscapes in Canada.

Bowen, a chartered accountant, joined Fidelity in 1994 as fund treasurer. In that role, he was the architect of the Fidelity Tax-Smart CashFlow, an award-winning innovation launched in 2002.

He’s a recipient of the Queen’s Golden Jubilee Medal for volunteer services provided to Athletics Canada, where he acted as honorary treasurer for several years.

Bowen has been in the financial services industry since 1988.
