Angela Rawal, principal, pension programs, Export Development Canada

Angela Rawal is principal of pension programs at Export Development Canada, where she provides strategic advice to senior management and board committees on defined benefit and defined contribution pension plans and employee savings programs. Her work spans plan governance, design and administration, with a focus on compliance, fiduciary oversight, vendor management and improving retirement outcomes through member data and insights.

With more than 20 years of experience in the Canadian pension industry, Rawal has worked with large plan sponsors and pension consulting organizations, building deep expertise in pension administration, risk management and governance practices that support diverse workforce segments. A seasoned leader, she has held progressively senior roles throughout her career, holds the certified employee benefit specialist designation and serves as vice-chair of the Association for Canadian Pension Management federal council.
