Patrick Vizzone, managing director, global private equity, Franklin Templeton

Patrick Vizzone leads private equity investments in Asia and is head of agri-food at Franklin Templeton Asia Pacific Alternatives. Prior to joining Franklin Templeton in 2022, he was ANZ's international head of food, beverage and agribusiness and alternate chief executive of ANZ Hong Kong. Prior to ANZ, he was alternative chief executive at National Australia Bank Hong Kong. Earlier in his career, Vizzone was head of strategic marketing and product for Asia-Pacific at GE Capital. Since 2017, he’s been a senior advisor to Agfunder Inc., one of the world's leading agri-food tech venture capital and insights platform. From 1995-1999, he co-founded and developed a vertically integrated agricultural supply chain management enterprise in China. For 13 years, Vizzone was a member of the board of directors of China Agri-Industries, the Hong Kong listed subsidiary of China's COFCO Group. He’s currently on the board of the International Fresh Produce Association, the University of Manchester's global leadership board, board of the Australian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and holds a fellowship of the Hong Kong Institute of Directors. Vizzone has a bachelor of arts in history and politics from Monash University, a masters in business administration in finance from Manchester Business School and an AMP from Harvard Business School.
