Karin Sullivan, vice-president, fixed income, Trans-Canada Capital Inc.

As vice-president of fixed income, Karin Sullivan is responsible for all fixed income investment activities. She is also responsible for building and managing the corporate credit portfolios and for trading corporate credit, including cash securities and credit derivatives. She brings nearly 20 years of experience in the institutional fixed income market and deep knowledge of the Canadian corporate bonds. She is a member of the fixed income investment committee, as well as the sustainable investing committee. Prior to joining TCC in 2018, Sullivan worked at an asset management firm, where she co-led the firm’s corporate bond strategy and managed the portfolios of insurance clients within asset/liability and regulatory capital conscious frameworks. In addition to being a chartered financial analyst charterholder, Sullivan holds a bachelor degree in business administration from Bishop’s University. She is also a board member, ESG committee member and market practices working group member of the Canadian Bond Investors' Association.
