David Lindstone, executive director, Benefit Street Partners - Alcentra, a Franklin Templeton Company

David Lindstone joined Alcentra in June 2018 as a senior analyst on the structured credit team. He works on structured product investments across Alcentra funds. In 2022, Alcentra was acquired by Franklin Templeton and integrated with Benefit Street Partners.

Before joining Alcentra, Lindstone spent seven years at Morgan Stanley in quantitative strategy, collateralized loan obligation trading and structuring and syndication of CLO refinancing and reset transactions. In addition, he worked with CLO managers on portfolio construction and optimization. Before this, he was a custom circuit designer in the high-performance microprocessor group at Qualcomm Inc.

Lindstone graduated with bachelor of science and master’s of science degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Colorado in 2005. In 2011, he received a master’s of financial engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
