Mai Mavinkurve, founding partner, Prosperity Global Services, senior fellow, Centre for International Governance and Innovation

Mai Mavinkurve is an industry expert and advisor in data, applied artificial intelligence, emerging technologies and innovation. She currently leads Prosperity Global Services, a specialized data and AI management consulting and advisory firm. As a member of Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada’s economic strategies table focused on digital industries, she led the subgroup that developed national data strategy and intellectual property recommendations. She has also represented Canada at the G7 ministerial meetings on AI and the future of work. Mavinkurve has advised on Ontario’s digital and data task force and co-chaired a data governance initiative with the Standards Council of Canada. She’s a licensed professional engineer, an executive leader and a serial entrepreneur. Mavinkurve is a graduate of the University of Toronto and a senior fellow at the Centre for International Governance and Innovation. She’s also a professional speaker on technology and innovation.
