Marie-Hélène Dugal, national pharmacy strategy lead, Medavie Blue Cross

Marie-Hélène Dugal has been with Medavie Blue Cross for more than 20 years. Over the course of her career, she has developed expertise in dental and health-care claims as well as in benefits management and configuring systems through her work with various departments. In 2013, Dugal joined Medavie’s pharmacy benefit strategy team, where she first held the role of senior product specialist before becoming portfolio manager, then manager in 2021 and most recently national pharmacy strategy lead. Dugal and her team are responsible for pharmacy benefit management for Medavie Blue Cross’s entire private book of business in all provinces. Thanks to her vast experience, she’s recognized as an expert in drug management who’s appreciated and highly sought after for her ability to clearly explain complex notions in both official languages.
