OPTrust has appointed Anca Drexler to the new role of senior vice-president, enterprise risk management and asset mix research (chief risk officer), effective immediately.
In this newly created role, she becomes the top risk officer for OPTrust, responsible for the organization’s enterprise risk management strategy and programs.
“Anca has demonstrated tremendous leadership at OPTrust in our investment research and risk management activities,” says Bill Hatanaka, the organization’s president and CEO. “I am delighted to welcome her to the organization’s executive committee.”
Drexler joined OPTrust in 2001 and has been a key member of the organization’s investment team. Most recently she held the position of managing director, investment research and risk.
