The Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec has acquired more shares in H2O Innovation.
It has subscribed to an additional 4.25 million shares in the water treatment systems company at a price of $0.22 a share.
The subscription was made through a private placement under the accredited investor exemption provided by applicable securities regulation.
The Caisse now holds more than 10 million shares of H2O, representing 14.4% of the outstanding shares.
The fund may increase or decrease its stake in the company “based on market conditions or other relevant factors.”
