Aon Hewitt Canada has appointed James Koo as a partner in the retirement consulting practice.
Most recently, he served as vice-president and chief risk officer for Canada and employee pensions at Sun Life Financial.
Prior to joining Sun Life, Koo spent 20 years at Hewitt Associates.
“James has extensive senior-level experience as both a consultant and a corporate executive, and that arms him with a unique understanding of our clients’ business,” said William Da Silva, senior partner and Canadian retirement practice director for Aon Hewitt Canada.
Koo has nearly 30 years of experience. He’s a fellow of the Society of Actuaries and the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and is also a member of the actuarial advisory committee of the Financial Services Commission of Ontario.
