Financial Executives International Canada (FEI Canada), a professional membership association for financial executives, and Queen’s School of Business have developed a program for Canada’s chief financial officers (CFOs).
This CFO Leadership Beyond Finance Program will combine an in-class curriculum with real-life experiences. Instructors will include university faculty, industry experts and CFOs-in-residence.
The program will focus on three major themes: leadership, strategy and leading change, and strategic execution.
“Today’s financial executive faces new challenges and more responsibilities, and must work more efficiently, with fewer resources,” says Michael Conway, president and CEO of FEI Canada. “The role of the CFO has evolved, and these important C-level leaders now require a broadened perspective that goes far beyond finance to encompass enterprise-wide concerns.”
