LinkedIn CEO passes $14 million stock grant to employees

LinkedIn CEO Jeff Weiner is forgoing his annual stock package and giving it to employees instead, according to an article on Re/Code.

The stock package is worth about $14 million, according to the article.

He’s not the first to employ this strategy to reward employees and boost morale. In October last year, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey gave away $200 million in stock to staff after company-wide layoffs and a battered stock price, according to the Re/Code article.
