Mercer appoints Judy Butterworth to executive rewards practice

Mercer has appointed Judy Butterworth as principal consultant in its executive rewards practice.

Butterworth, who will be working in the organization’s Calgary office, joins Mercer with more than 20 years of experience in all areas of compensation, including executive and board compensation, equity compensation plan design and administration, benchmarking and best-practice compensation disclosure.

“[Butterworth] has built a prestigious career by providing researched and objective total reward strategies to clients, taking into account employee engagement, local market pressures and enhancing shareholder value,” said Gordon Frost, leader of Mercer’s talent business in Canada.

“She is a subject-matter expert who will be an asset to both our team and to our clients. We are also excited to welcome [her] back to the Mercer family as she started her HR career in our Calgary office in the nineties.”

Prior to joining Mercer, Butterworth worked in various senior positions in compensation and total rewards in the Calgary market, including roles at Encana and TransCanada.
