Morneau Shepell appoints new B.C. region lead

Morneau Shepell has appointed Mel Bartlett as region lead for British Columbia.

In the new role, Bartlett will have overall responsibility for the company’s consulting business in the province, as well as for ensuring growth and client satisfaction across all lines of business.

Based in Vancouver, he is an actuary by profession and has been with Morneau Shepell for 19 years. He also has experience in the insurance industry and in working with public sector and corporate clients.

Additionally, JP Girard will continue as region leader for the Prairies (Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba).

Based in Calgary, Girard has his CEBS designation and been with Morneau Shepell for 10 years. He was previously the head of International and Atlantic for the firm’s Employee Support Solutions business.
