Express Scripts Canada has launched a mobile version of its Online Prescription Manager service, accessible at member.express-scripts.ca.
The new mobile site enables plan members to sign up for home delivery of maintenance medications, transfer existing prescriptions from another pharmacy and obtain prescription refills from their mobile devices. They can also use the program to order, pay for and track the delivery status of their medications.
The mobile site is available for use with Apple’s iPhone, and is expected to be accessible to other smartphones later in 2012.
“Express Scripts Canada developed the Mobile Prescription Manager in response to the rapidly expanding number of people who use mobile devices on a daily basis to manage a wide range of data,” said Michael Biskey, president of Express Scripts Canada. “We believe that the added convenience offered to patients…will make it possible for them to better manage their health and their prescription drug benefit.”
