Great-West Life has introduced a new mobile application for registered members of GroupNet for Plan Members. The app is available for iPhone and iPod Touch devices.
The new app, GroupNet Mobile, provides secure mobile access to personalized coverage information, allows online submission of healthcare claims and uses a GPS-based mapping tool to provide the location of the nearest healthcare providers with access to Great-West Life’s Provider eClaims.
“GroupNet Mobile responds to the growing number of smartphone owners who use mobile devices to manage a wide range of personal information,” said Brad Fedorchuk, vice-president of group marketing, Great-West Life.
GroupNet Mobile follows the company’s launch in 2011 of DrugHub, an app that allows consumers to manage their prescription medications. Both can be downloaded free from Apple’s online App Store.
