Pfizer launches online tool, assistance program

Pfizer Canada recently launched Pfizer Strive, a website that offers health-related tools and resources to help Canadians take charge of their health.

“Canadians are increasingly turning online to help them make healthcare decisions. And research demonstrates that people are more motivated to lead a healthier life when they can access programs that support these decisions,” says Scott Wilks, general manager, established products business unit, with Pfizer Canada.

The site provides visitors with tools and information to aid in such practices as healthy eating, improving fitness and reducing stress.

It also introduces the Pfizer Strive Payment Assistance program, which offers Canadians the opportunity to opt into a payment assistance program for select Pfizer medications. Currently, there are eleven medications included in the program. Visit www.pfizerstrive.ca for a full list of eligible medications.

“At Pfizer, we believe in supporting Canadians’ choices, whether that’s accessing recipes, setting up a personal health action plan, or choosing to opt-in to receive payment assistance so they can remain on their current medication,” said Wilks.
